Original reel soundtrack for promoting the film production company work
The sound piece have to different parts put together where the old work and the new is presented to the client in film festivals like Festival de Cine de San Sebastián
The client wanted a clear break between both stages, rythmic, instrumental and emotional.
The reel was presented to an audience that would buy and distribute the films shown and needed to be focused in all the 3´17´´. The track doesnt have any valleys or pauses to avoid distraction, as requiered by the client.
Avalon audience is mostly asian and asian instruments, samples and sounds where requiered for them to familiarize with the reel.
As a spanish-based company, the client requested some spanish cadence, samples and rythms, due to their recent success in the country with the award winner Alcarràs.
The track needed to show emotion and an epic elegance in both different parts.
The first part, the old work, is dotated with a classical aproach. It is composed with an unfinished chord progression that resembles the conflict of cinema.
The second part, the new work, rise the bpm, and become a poweful tryumphal tune, on a spanish-cadence as to express all the artistic intention and philosofy of the client.
