On a mysterious night, a bathtub embarks on a getaway to meet its love, a boat. The bathtub crosses several worlds where the tonal modulation of the music is an essential component to support the feeling of adventure, through the scenarios it travels. After the journey, the bathtub stops to admire the landscape and enjoy the silence. The soundtrack completely shifts to a second chapter of a tender romantic encounter, where a guitar takes the spotlight. The creaking of this instrument resembles the sounds made by the wood of a boat on the sea. The percussion supports the race and serves as a structure for the wind instruments that make the bathtub soar.
To generate the animation, the creators programmed a Universal Robots robotic arm to physically move each object that was part of the story in a choreographed manner in front of the chroma key. The production process involved a hundred layers of movement that were composed and subsequently processed with an AI model based on Stable Video Diffusion.
The electronic music supports the hundred layers that make up the aesthetic of the image, serving as sonic glue between them. Meanwhile, the physical movements of the robot added humanity to the animation, while the AI generated an unexpected and magical visual universe.
